To commemorate the milestone of 100 days of school, Mill Creek Elementary School held a “100 Days Brighter” celebration on February 15. The gym was transformed into a radiant, neon space, bursting with excitement and energy from the students, who were encouraged to wear white shirts and neon socks, hats, pants or other accessories to “glow.”

The event featured crafts, games and activities, all centered on reaching the achievement of 100 days in students’ academic journey. Truman High School’s National Honor Society (NHS) chapter volunteered their time to help run the stations, including mini-golf, bowling, cup stacking, bracelet making and more.

“The Truman students set a ‘shining’ example of glowing brighter because of their dedication to education,” said Principal Dawn Martesi. “The celebration was also an outstanding success thanks to the collaborative efforts of our SWPBIS Team, School Leadership Team and our dedicated teachers.”
