The Bristol Township Transportation Department hopes that you had a fun, relaxing summer, and that you are excited about the start of the school year.
Like school districts around the area and country, we continue to struggle with staffing challenges, but believe that we are in a pretty good place to meet BTSD transportation needs with the school year set to begin. Please note the following:
AM Pick Up and PM Drop Off
All transportation information, including bus arrival times, is now available on iCampus. Please visit the iCampus parent portal or the iCampus student portal to view your child’s transportation information. Once on iCampus, you will find the transportation information located under “Transportation” and under “Summary”.
Student Etiquette and Behavior
School teams will provide PBIS training regarding expected bus behaviors. Since your child will likely ride a bus before these training sessions, please remind your child about proper bus etiquette and behavior. Appropriate behavior is essential on the bus when student safety is paramount. Remember, our bus drivers need to focus on the road, not problematic student behavior.
Communication
In the event that we need to communicate with you regarding your child’s transportation, you will receive communication specific to your child’s bus and your child’s school. As an example, if Bus 99 is a Brookwood Bus and is Delayed or Cancelled, only Brookwood families that ride Bus 99 will be contacted. You should anticipate that our communication will be more individualized this school year than in previous years.
