Bristol Township School District has been awarded a $500,000 PCCD BOOST Grant over a three-year period to launch a new districtwide after-school program for students in grades K–12. The program will start in the 2026-2027 school year with a focus at the elementary level.

This new initiative will provide a combination of literacy support, social-emotional learning, and meaningful enrichment activities, including STEM, nature-based learning, drug prevention, nutrition, and movement. All programming will take place in safe, supervised environments during critical after-school hours.

In partnership with No Longer Bound and agencies from the Bristol Cares Coalition, the program will focus on increasing student engagement, building positive relationships, and expanding access to high-quality after-school experiences. This work supports key protective factors linked to youth violence prevention, including adult mentorship, consistent supervision, and a strong sense of belonging and connection to school.

Students will be identified using district-level data, including academic performance, attendance, and behavioral indicators, to ensure the program reaches those who would benefit most from additional support and structured opportunities beyond the school day.
