The Bristol Township School Board of Directors met on December 2 to conduct the annual school board reorganization meeting for 2025.

The meeting began with the swearing-in of new Board member Stacy Gerlach by Retired Judge Robert L. Wagner.  Gerlach was appointed by Judge Jeffrey L. Finley to fill the open seat on the Board after Mary Sharble stepped down upon moving out of Bristol Township.  The term expires in the upcoming year.

Gerlach was previously a member of the Bristol Township School Board of Directors for twelve years, serving on a variety of committees during her tenure.  She was born and raised in Levittown, is an alumnus of Truman High School and the Bucks County Tech School's Nursing Program.  Gerlach is employed at RHA Health Services where she serves individuals with various abilities as an IDD Vocational Supervisor.

“I look forward to returning to the Board temporarily and working with my fellow Directors and the administration to move the schools forward and promote student achievement,” Gerlach stated as her work on the Board commences.

The Board then conducted its officer elections for the upcoming year.  James Morgan was elected as Board President and Donna Kelly was elected as Vice President.

“We welcome Stacy back to the Board of Directors and look forward to working together to continue to focus on providing effective governance for the school district,” President Morgan commented. “Best wishes for a wonderful holiday season to the entire Bristol Township School Community.”

The Bristol Township School Board of Directors will next meet on Tuesday, January 21 for a regular business meeting.
