Submit Application for Retirement (PSRS-8) within 90 days of your termination date to receive retroactive retirement benefits (even with pending divorce or service purchase).

STEPS TO RETIREMENT (PSERS)
1. Attend a PSERS Information Session

• Attend or view the online PSERS “Foundations for Your Future” presentation. Visit the PSERS website to find a session.
• Review Countdown to Retirement Checklist

2. Request a Retirement Estimate

• Use the PSERS online retirement estimate calculator (available anytime).
• If within one year of retirement, submit Request for Retirement Estimate (PSRS-151) for an official estimate.

3. Submit Notice of Retirement to Human Resources.
4. Schedule PSERS Retirement Counseling

• Attend the Foundations for Your Future session first.
• Call the local PSERS office to schedule counseling: 215-443-3495
